Yamanashi Prefecture has announced the results of a survey aimed at commercializing the Mount Fuji mountain railway project. It is estimated that the economic impact of the railway and surrounding businesses over 40 years of operation will be a cumulative 1.56 trillion yen, and that the employment effect will be a total of 120,273 people.
