Yamanashi Prefecture has announced the results of an evaluation of the effectiveness of restrictions on the Yoshidaguchi climbing route of Mt. Fuji implemented this summer. The number of climbers during the period was down 18% compared to the previous year, and there was no day when the number of climbers exceeded 4,000. Governor Nagasaki is of the opinion that “it is important to unify with Shizuoka Prefecture as much as possible.”
