Traveler Survey 2024 from 39 countries around the world: Japan and South Korea are particular about food, China is a local experience, and Asian consumers are a digital experience.



Euromonitor International conducted a survey of travelers from 39 countries around the world. When asked about the quality of food at the destination, 30.3% of people in South Korea and 25.3% of people in Japan said it was important to them. This was significantly higher than the world average of 15.0%. 20% of consumers in Asia are digital travelers.
