Pre-Thanksgiving U.S. airline passenger numbers hit record high; cruise passengers expected to increase by 20%; 80 million people expected to travel more than 50 miles



According to the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA), approximately 2.7 million passengers were screened at airport security checkpoints on November 26, 2024, the highest number on record for the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. This broke last year’s record.
