New regions and bases to promote cultural tourism have been certified by the minister, including Iwate Prefecture’s Hiraizumi Cultural Heritage Center and Okinawa Prefecture’s Okinawa Karate Kaikan.



Based on the Cultural Tourism Promotion Act, three new base plans and one regional plan were approved by the Minister. Hiraizumi Cultural Heritage Center, Okinawa Karate Kaikan (exhibition facility), etc.
