JTB’s interim results show a 2.4% increase in sales but a decline in profit, domestic travel declines in reaction to “nationwide travel support”, and overseas travel recovers slowly



JTB Group announced its financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025. Sales increased by 2.4% from the previous year to 522.3 billion yen, but profits decreased. Overseas travel sales increased 67.4% year on year, but the recovery is still gradual. Domestic travel showed a reactionary decline from the previous year’s “nationwide travel support”.
