JAL and Garuda Indonesia to start joint business next year, expanding exchanges between Japan and Indonesia


JAL and Garuda Indonesia have agreed to start a joint business on Japan/Indonesia routes from April 2025. The company has already received approval from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in August 2024 to be exempted from the application of the Antimonopoly Act.

In the 2024 winter schedule, JAL will operate Narita/Jakarta 13 times a week, Garuda Indonesia will operate Haneda/Jakarta 7 times a week, and Narita/Denbasar 7 times a week.
