The occupancy rate in October 2024 at 112 major hotel facilities in Kyoto City is 88.8%. It marked the highest level since the coronavirus outbreak and exceeded pre-coronavirus levels for the first time in five months. The total number of overnight stays by foreigners exceeded the same month in 2019 for eight consecutive months, accounting for 65.8%.
