UN Tourism revealed that the number of tourists worldwide is expected to reach approximately 790 million by July 2024, a recovery of 96% compared to 2019. Regarding tourism revenues, 47 of the 63 countries with data will recover to pre-pandemic levels in the first half of 2024.
