The Asia-Pacific Tourism Resilience Summit was held for the first time in Sendai from November 9th to 10th, 2024. At the ministerial level meeting, the vulnerability of the tourism sector was reaffirmed. The “Sendai Declaration” was adopted, which aims to prevent and minimize the impact of crises and natural disasters, and apply the lessons learned to tourism strategies.
