FTE APEX Asia Expo, Asia’s largest international conference and trade fair focused on airport and aviation business and customer experience innovation, will be held in Singapore from November 19th to 20th, 2024.
The event was co-hosted by Future Travel Experience (FTE) and APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association), a non-profit organization whose members include airlines, airport authorities, and related suppliers from around the world. In addition to Asia Expo, the two companies organize multiple aviation and travel events each year, including FTE Global in North America.
Admission to the trade fair grounds is free. To participate in some programs such as the premium conference, networking reception, and Changi Airport tour the day before the event, you will need to purchase a premium pass.

The main topics covered at the conference will be future predictions by top executives of Asian airlines, examples of efforts to improve customer experience at airports, design and in-flight entertainment that lead to sales and comfort, the forefront of the F&B (beverage) field, and sustainable growth. Strategy, next-generation airport terminal design, flight attendants and management solution examples using AI, etc. Top executives from notable companies and key personnel from global organizations will present their knowledge and future predictions.
The keynote speech was given by Peter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo, India’s largest airline by number of passengers, and who has been in the airline industry for over 30 years. He talks about the strategies that have supported IndiGo’s success and the future of the aviation industry.
Speakers currently scheduled to take the stage include Jeffrey Goh, CEO of Gulf Air Group, John Simeon, CEO of Jetstar Asia, Richard Nuttall, CEO of SriLankan Airlines, and Jason Goh, Executive Vice President of Changi Airport Group. , Sumesh Patel, president of SITA (International Aeronautical Information and Telecommunications Authority) Asia-Pacific region, and others. In addition, lectures and panel discussions will be held with top executives from Incheon International Airport Corporation, Rome Fiumicino Airport, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific, United Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and more.
Meanwhile, at the trade fair, visitors will be able to see demonstrations of new products and services, and there will also be a special zone for startups. The venue’s stage will also feature lectures, panel discussions, and meetings based on topics such as “Baggage,” “Automation & Self-Service,” “Inflight Entertainment & Connectivity (IFEC), Inflight Innovation,” and “Inflight Hospitality.”
Other awards include the FTE APEX Pioneer Award 2024, which recognizes innovation by airlines and airports in Asia, the newly launched FTE APAC Innovation Award, and the APEX Regional Passenger Award, which is selected based on passenger feedback. The “Choice Award” ceremony will be held.
