The total transaction amount for Japan’s 43 major travel agencies and groups in July 2024 was 292,113,530,000 yen, up 1.2% from the same month last year and down 28.3% from the same month in 2019. Domestic travel was sluggish, and although overseas travel has recovered, it is still down 36% from 2019.
