According to JTB’s travel trend forecast for the year-end and New Year holidays (December 23rd to January 3rd), the number of domestic travelers is 28 million, about the same as last year, due to concerns about the future. The number of overseas travelers is expected to increase by 13% year on year to 520,000 due to the favorable weather conditions. Expenses are higher than the previous year both domestically and overseas.
