The voting rate in Japan was around 53.85 percent at the latest Japanese House of Representatives general election in 2024held on October 27. The House of Representatives is the lower house of the Japanese parliament. Its members are newly elected in general elections every four years, unless the cabinet dissolves the house earlier.
