Kyoto City is strengthening its measures against overtourism in preparation for peak tourism seasons such as autumn leaves starting in November 2024. We have implemented a bonus campaign to promote Kyoto tourism morals in the form of a quiz, and introduced advance reservations for parking lots in the Higashiyama area.
